In her studio practice, Madaline Gardner (b.1994 Carlisle, Pennsylvania US) explores the bodily experience of neurodivergence through modulations of color. Her sensory installations and image making invite the audience to touch and explore pathways of motion present in her paintings. Through speculative landscapes and meditative pattern-based elements, she maps the mind through connections to memory and synesthesia. She has exhibited at Bon Millen Gallery (2025), Torpedo Factory (2022,) and has a forthcoming exhibit at the ICA at VCU (2026.) She has participated in a residency at Studio Two Three (2024,) and earned her BFA from Pratt Institute in Drawing (2017.)
